RE: Request for Refund of Flight #________ Due to Coronavirus
To whom it may concern:
My name is ________ and I was supposed to be a passenger on an Alaska Airlines flight, Flight #________. This was a domestic flight.
The flight was scheduled to depart from ________ at ________ and arrive at ________ at ________ on ________. This was meant to be a one-way ticket for me.
My situation is as follows: my home country is not allowing travel out due to COVID-19, therefore, I am unable to make my scheduled trip.
Because of the above, I am requesting a full refund of the ticket price.
I understand that the airline industry is being hit hard right now due to the pandemic that is sweeping the globe and that these requests may not fall into your standard policies. However, I am hopeful that something can be worked out, as I'm sure many customers are experiencing the same type of difficulty in traveling that I am. It would be challenging to lose this money, and I, therefore, hope we can come to an adequate resolution.
